Hello, I'm MichiganLover and I believe in Michigan and its ability to transform with the times.  I was born and raised here and intend to stay.  I grew up in the Greater Detroit area but have ties to the Upper Peninsula through my family and love of the area.  My husband and I love to travel our home state, especially taking lighthouse vacations and day trips.

I plan on sharing my love of Michigan through articles on Michigan travel, businesses, sports, recreation, people, history and culture.  I will also share my opinion of books, movies and other products of interest.  In this small way, I hope to attract tourism to Michigan and encourage Michiganders to explore their own state.
